Built in 1880 with a brick bay front in the Italianate style, The Wheeler-Griebling House at 1041 Ninth Street once served as home to Frank Wheeler, foreman of the Denver-Rio Grande Railroad for 35 years, and then John Griebling, a finisher and cabinet maker for Denver Furniture and Carpet Company.
