Denver MS Walk: Wall of Hope

Denver held its annual MS Walk on Saturday, 5 May 2007 at City Park. Registrants waiting to enter the Experience MS Tent are shown here standing next to the Wall of Hope. Registration began at 8 a.m. under rainy skies, and the walk began at 9 a.m.

Broncos coach Pat McPherson chats with friends, oblivious to the fact that he is being carefully eyed by a Colorado bluefin shark -- an incredibly rare sub-genus of the landshark species. Denver MS Walk: The Lady in Orange

Standing next to Channel 9's Mark Koebrich, emcee of the Opening Ceremonies, an MS Society official introduces Broncos coach Pat McPherson. She is appropriately dressed in orange -- a subtle reference to the Broncos' code-name, "Orange Crush."

Denver MS Walk: Cowgirl Butterfly

This is Emily, a young woman who raised more than $11,000 dollars for the MS walk with the help of her friends on Team John. Her father, John, was diagnosed with MS the week she was conceived. She has watched him struggle with the disease her entire life. See her personal page:
Not only has Emily made a tremendous effort for the MS Society, she has also just been accepted at Yale. Her team mates wore some of the funniest and most colorful costumes on the walk, and her spirit was an inspiration to all.
