Sacred 36: The Crawford Hill Mansion

Sunrise illuminates the Crawford Hill Mansion at the intersection of Sherman Street and 10th Avenue. Built in 1906, this French Renaissance masterpiece once served as the hub of Denver High Society. Its owner, Mrs. Louise Crawford Hill, was the leader of the "Sacred 36" -- a circle of millionaires so exclusive that they snubbed Molly Brown. Louise's ghost supposedly haunts Room 904 of the Brown Palace Hotel.
Designed by Theodore Boal and Frederick Harnois, the mansion has been carefully restored by architect Peter Dominick and interior designer Philae Dominick. It now houses attorneys Haddon Morgan Mueller Jordan Mackey & Foreman. Their website provides an interesting history: http://www.hmflaw.com/bldg_hist.htm
