Dick's Sporting Goods Arena: Proper Perspective

The new home of the Colorado Rapids soccer team is way the hell out in Commerce City. Shown here from the highway, it can be seen in its proper perspective: a huge development surrounded by dirt. My friend Mitchell thinks it's cool that they kept the name "Commerce City" -- because it's honest and American. It certainly is a truck driver's paradise. This photo was actually taken as we left the first game at half-time. It was way too cold -- snowing in fact -- and the new stadium is wide open to the prairie wind.
