Gloomy skies darken the intersection of 13th and Bannock, seen here from the Sculpture Deck of the Denver Art Museum on the rainy Saturday afternoon of 5 May. A glum refugee carrying balloons from the Cinco de Mayo fest may be seen in the crosswalk opposite a Spanish-style building which is, ironically, a British pub.
